Things To Remember
by Dr. Jeff Amsbaugh (May 20 2012)
Series: Order in the Church
There are several things that God wants us to remember. In this passage there are four things to remember. We must remember our position and that we are always under authority. Also, we must remember our plan and to follow it. We need to remember our past and that we used to be what we hate now, and lastly the pardon that Christ has afforded us. These are key to remember to serve Him effectively.
True Commencement
by Dr. Jeff Amsbaugh (May 20 2012)
There is something to graduation that often gets overlooked. It is the fact that it is not celebrating something finished, but rather the beginning of something greater than that which is already completed. To experience true commencement we must give up all that we think we are and see Christ for all He is and learn to operate in total faith in Him. Doing this we allow Christ's power to fill our lives and give us our strength.
A Joyful Mother
by Dr. Jeff Amsbaugh (May 13 2012)
The Scriptures tell us that children are a blessing from the Lord, and no one understands that better than a Mother. It is a hard thing when a wife is unable to be a mother and can be a stress on her. The Lord commands her to go about the business put before her and be a keeper at home and He will bring the miracle of a child in His time. When He does the Mother will be a joyful one.
The Grace of God
by Dr. Jeff Amsbaugh (May 6 2012)
Series: Order in the Church
Titus begins to explain how the grace of God works in our lives. God's Grace has several qualities that effect how we are blessed. In this passage we will look at four of them. Praise the Lord for His amazing grace!
Serving Together
by Dr. Jeff Amsbaugh (May 6 2012)
Series: Spring Campaign 2012
As we are coming to a close on the "Coupled Together" series on marriage we come to the importance of both the husband and the wife being two parts of one team. Priscilla and Aquila were such a team. We can look to them for a great example of teamwork. This great couple were always mentioned together. Today we need some inseparable couples.
The Unseen Guest
by Dr. Jeff Amsbaugh (Apr 8 2012)
Series: Spring Campaign 2012
In every home there is an unseen Guest that sits at every meal, who hears every conversation. This Guest is the Lord. This thought should change the way our houses run and the way we operate in them. As we continue to look at couples and families this message will show us how our homes should be run.
Dealing with Servants
by Dr. Jeff Amsbaugh (Apr 1 2012)
Series: Order in the Church
Paul continues to instruct his young preacher boy on the order that the Lord has placed in the Church and he comes to the matter of servants and masters. Many servants/slaves would have chosen Christ because it meant some freedom and that did not free them from their masters. In this passage we fin how servants were to deal with their masters, and that relates to how we as employees should relate to our employers.
Is Mutual Submission Heresy?
by Dr. Jeff Amsbaugh (Apr 1 2012)
Series: Spring Campaign 2012
As we take a look at the structure that God has placed in the home we find that there is a authority in each marriage and that authority is the husband. If the couple begins to operate out of sequence or under "mutual submission" they will find that the marriage that was once a happy one will begin to become not so happy.
Dealing with Young Men
by Dr. Jeff Amsbaugh (Mar 25 2012)
Series: Order in the Church
As Paul keeps giving this young pastor the ingredients to have a successful church he tells him how to deal with young men. We need leaders in our world, godly, Christian leaders that will make changes. If we, as parents, will raise our sons to be God fearing, strong Christians then God can use them to make great changes in this godless world.
Get Your House in Order
by Dr. Jeff Amsbaugh (Mar 25 2012)
Series: Spring Campaign 2012
As we continue through this series on couples we come to a passage of Scripture that will help us get our houses in order. Order is very important to God. He wants everything to be done decently and in order. Many homes today are out of order, and in this message we find God's way of getting them back in proper working condition.
