For the Glory of God
by Dr. Fred Moritz (Feb 10 2010)
Series: Missions Conference 2010
The apostle Paul lived and wrote in difficult days. He went through some of the same kinds of trials, persecutions, and discouragements in the ministry as we do today. Yet, he kept the right perspective through it all. This message, preached opening night of our 2010 Mission Conference, will motivate you to keep striving and thriving in your service to God. These principles will remind you to do it all for the glory of God.
Affiliation Is Not Assimilation
by Dr. Jeff Amsbaugh (Feb 7 2010)
Series: Hebrews
Just because someone hangs out at church with God's people doesn't automatically make that person one of God's children -- just like spending the night in a garage doesn't make you a car! Everyone must personally accept Jesus Christ for themselves; you cannot receive the Savior by osmosis from other Christians. This passage offers a historical precedent and scriptural support for this truth.
The Cosmos
by Dr. Jeff Amsbaugh (Feb 7 2010)
Series: World News Today with Joe Missionary
When you think about reaching the "world" for Christ, the scope and magnitude of the task seems daunting. This message from John 3:16 examines what the Bible means when it uses the word "cosmos" for the world and discovers several key missions principles pertaining to the need for Christians to take the Good News to the lost world. As ambassadors for Christ, it is our duty to reach our planet with the Gospel.
When the Chair Becomes Yours
by Dr. Jeff Amsbaugh (Feb 3 2010)
Series: Hebrews
Jehoshaphat may have reigned simultaneously with his father in a co-regency situation. In the third year, after Asa died, Jehoshaphat acquired the throne alone. Now he was in the king's chair all by himself. What will he do? How will he act now that he is the one in charge? This message examines some priniciples to govern your life when the chair becomes yours.
