Three of Paul's "I ams"
by Dr. David Snyder (Feb 19 2012)
Series: Missions Conference 2012
There are several times in Paul's writings he made statements including the phrase "I am". This message deals with three of those statements, and if we would add these qualities to our lives we would see spiritual success in our lives. Paul is quite the example from his salvation all the way to his death. He lived for Christ, and we can also.
Lift Up Your Eyes
by Dr. David Snyder (Feb 19 2012)
Series: Missions Conference 2012
In our world today we need more people to lift up their eyes and behold the harvest. In this passage the Lord shows the disciples what He can do with some one who is willing. A boy gives all and Jesus performs a miracle with it. I f we would be willing to give all to Him, He will do amazing things with what we give. We must not reserve anything, but we must give Him all.
I AM that I AM
by Dr. David Snyder (Feb 17 2012)
Series: Missions Conference 2012
As we take a close look at this passage we have seen Moses' response to God at this burning bush experience, but now we will see God's response to Moses. After all the excuses and fussing about not being able to deliver the children of Israel, God tells Moses that he can do it because God is the I AM that I AM. We must not doubt what God asks us to do, for we are not doing it, but God through us.
Here Am I
by Dr. David Snyder (Feb 12 2012)
Series: Missions Conference 2012
When we think of missions we often think about how much we must give so others may go, but in reality if we are ready to be the one to go we would better know how God would have us to give. God may have your money, but if He has you He will have your heart and your money. We must be willing to be and do and go what ever and where ever God wants from us. In this passage we will look at one of Moses' responses to God.
With His Stripes
by Missionary Mike Kelly (Jan 25 2012)
For all the things that our Lord endured in His crucifixion we are indebted to serve Him. What are we doing to become more Christ-like? Are we willing to endure what He endured? We must be ready to go through the suffering that He went through if we intend to be like Him. As we unfold this passage we see what it means to be truly Christ-like.
You Can't have It Both Ways
by Missionary David Adkins (Jan 22 2012)
In this message, Missionary David Adkins uses the faith of Peter to show us why we should be getting "out of the boat" and doing something for Christ. We only need to have the faith that Peter did to get out of the boat and start walking on the water. We can always remember that even if we start to sink that Jesus is there to catch us and help us up.
The Salvation of One
by Missionary Daniel Norton (Nov 27 2011)
Bro. Norton shares an amazing story of the events leading up to the salvation of a young girl named Karina. God orchestrated the events in the lives of multiple people that lead to that girl getting saved. It all reminded us of how God uses us and others to see just one soul get saved. One more soul is important to the Lord and should be to us.
What Is the Most Important Thing
by Missionary Dan Jalowiecs (Nov 13 2011)
There are so many things in life that we might think that are very important, but what is the most important thing. The world will tell you that success, money, or possessions are what we should be after. The Bible however, reminds us of what is truly the most important. The apostle Paul counted everything but dung for the cause of Christ. Will we make that the most important also?
Ambassador's of Christ
by Missionary Jeremy Blanz (Oct 12 2011)
As we look into this passage of scripture we find that the reconciliation that God has afforded us through Christ is not to sit stagnant within us, but in turn we should be giving that gift to others also. We merely represent Christ as His Ambassadors to the world around us that is lost and on their way to Hell. Will we be the Ambassadors that God wants us to be?
The Presence of the Lord in Missions
by Dr. Tim Berrey (Jun 26 2011)
Series: Guest Preacher
When the Lord said in the Great Commission passage, "Lo, I am with you alway," that was a promise of His presence. It is true that Jesus is with everyone who is a believer, but this promise is more specifically applied to those disciples who are fulfilling the Great Commission. They are the ones that will truly experience the presence of the Lord. Dr. Tim Berrey, missionary to Asia, preaches this encouraging message to faithful soul-winners.
