When The Lights are On

by Dr. Jeff Amsbaugh (12/25/11)

If there is one thing we need it's light. We live by the lights that God created. His first creation was light itself. We must use the Lord and his Word as our Light to light the paths of life. The truth will reveal the way we should go just as a flashlight keeps us on the path in the woods at night. We must walk in the light.

There was one man who was waiting to hear of the Messiah's birth and he was finally able to see the one thing that he wanted to see before his death. In this message, Bro. Dunlop uses the scriptures to show us the need and the emphasis that Christ placed on bringing children to come to know Him as their Savior. The Scriptures tell us that we all must become as little children to get saved. In light of this, why don't we put more emphasis on reaching them while they are so tender towards the things of God.

Good Christian Men, Rejoice

by Dr. Jeff Amsbaugh (12/11/11)

Series: Christmas Sermon Series

Oh, we should all be rejoicing at how the Lord has made a difference in our lives, but there are those with rather compelling and dramatic testimonies. Those that made others think that they could not possibly be used of God. How the Lord has a way of using the "unusable". As we think of the sacrifice that Christ made for us we can rejoice with all the others, no matter what the background.

The Fly

by (12/04/11)

One of the most important things a Christian has is their testimony. And just as this passage of scripture illustrates, we can loose a life-time of testimony with only one moment of foolishness. We have to guard ourselves against the many flies that could get into our ointment. Don't entertain even a moment of foolishness.
