The Hedge

In the world that we live in today we are in great need of those that are building and guarding hedges. Hedges that protect us from the evils of this world and its philosophies. If we deny the hedges and break them, the scriptures are clear that a serpent will bite us. It is a promise from the Lord. Do not break the hedges.
A Letter on How to Raise Sheep

For a Shepherd, raising sheep is very important. Each church is given a shepherd and the Lord has put him in charge of the sheep. Christ holds that pastor in His hand as he walks the halls of the church following the leading that he gets from the Lord. When a Pastor is doing that then he gets to experience the pleasures of a great church, but he must keep his purpose clearly defined.
The Trying of Your Faith

From this passage we can find that trials are not uncommon in our lives. In fact, verse two shows us that there may be a very diverse collection of them. That being the case, the only thing we can do is to make sure that we react to the trial in faith that God is in control. God has brought the trial to see us grow. They are part of His will and we should want His will for our lives.
Seasoned Speach or Cured Communication

As Human Beings we thrive on relationships and relationship hinge on communication. If there is a breakdown of this communication the relationship will start to stumble. There are many ways that we allow communication to ruin our lives. As the book of James says, "the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity:" If we use communication properly we will have great relationships.

Every love story needs a happy ending and this one does. We see that the shulamite maiden finds her beloved and comes back with him. They continue to confess the love that they have for one another remembering the things that brought them together and what will keep them together. As the famous line goes, and they lived happily ever after.
A Stellar Moment in the Life of a Sorry Educator

We all have had that one teacher that we were not so sure about. The one that made you wonder why were they even a teacher. This passage reveals one such teacher to us, and reminds us that though they may not be in the running for teacher of the year, they could stumble into a great moment. Eli was not a good teacher, but God used him for one great task that changed a nation by turning them back to Him.
