Missions Conference Around the Corner (Feb 01, 2010)
We are off to a good start this year. Numbers seem to be holding their own in early January, and we are incredibly thankful for the souls that have been saved and the baptismal waters that have been stirred already this year.
Last week we were able to lead a pregnant mother to the Lord. We had already been able to lead her young husband to Christ a few weeks ago. Praise the Lord! Pray that we will be able to see them baptized and discipled in the near future.
Yesterday, Kali Bates, a returning visitor to Grace, walked the aisle during the invitation to receive Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. Amen! We are thankful for this new addition to the family of God.
Over a hundred riders boarded our buses yesterday, and one precious child prayed to receive Christ in the counseling center of bus church. Amen!
Our Fort Benning Bible studies this week were attended by 75 soldiers. 27 of these stood to receive Jesus Christ as personal Savior. What a privilege to see servicemen entering the army of the Lord!
Excitement continues to build as our 19th annual world missionary conference approaches. Missionaries to Australia, Ecuador, Egypt, Grenada, Nebraska, and Norway will be with us. We are asking God for over $200,000 of missionary faith promise commitments. Pray that God will help us reach our goals. We are aggressively on tract to support 500 missionaries by the year 2030, and we covet your prayers for this expansion.
Your prayers and support mean much to us.
